Even though the children are on summer vacation, their range of activity is limited due to the spread of infection. So, we held online storytelling events for children in welfare facilities where we donated our picture books “You are the only one, but never a lonely one” last year.

The reader of the picture book was miRai, a singer and balloon artist. Before reading the story, she introduced the names of the animals in the picture book in English with picture cards and had conversations with the children. In addition, the children seemed to be very pleased because the video we provided was illustrations with motion.

Although it was a short time, we were able to see the smiling faces of the children through the screen, and it was a meaningful time for us. We hope this event has become one of the good memories of summer vacation for children.
